It’s my perception that without the Gameboy, Tetris would not be the recognizable game it is today. In fact looking back it seems that Tetris was the only game people played on the handheld console back in the day.
Based on a custom z80 processor, the 4.19 MHz machine shares the same lineage as today’s Windows based machines and not every other ARM based handheld device, which seems somewhat ironic.
